The careers of some of the players obviously predate the start of baseball cards (I'm not counting cabinets for the purposes of this exercise), but four of my favorite players who are sans cards (as far as I know) are:

Charlie Jones
Bill Lange
Jake Stenzel
Jack Stivetts

All of those guys were pretty darn good players in their time and probably should have had cards.
