Dan Mathewson...I hadn't even thought of that. Too much Pinot Noir and east coast sun on the beach...it's blurring my thought processes! I see the auction has been updated, and now it mentions paper loss on the back, too. I thought at first it might be a bad scan of a flash photo...bummer, the front of the card presents well. 
I wish so many kids hadn't glued cards into things!!!
Talk about something vintage (not cards, but this very era...) I visited Kitty Hawk and the site of the Wright Bros today. Very damm cool. What an amazing, courageous feat those guys mastered... And, it was right when Christy was pitching in Polo Grounds. Wouldn't it have been something else to go back in time and see all this history happening?
Today, just to sit and imagine what it was like...
