If your question is specifc, I can tell you that OPC Hockey and Baseball cards would be about the most difficult cards to deceptively trim and cut from sheets. Anyone who owns an old OPC knows why.

Personally, I don't have a problem with graders grading cards cut from sheets, as long as they label them as being cut from sheets. Whether or not a card cut from a sheet is of equal or less value is a question that should be left up to the informed buyer, not the seller or grader.
