If you're looking up prices, they'll usually be within 4K of what the thing actually goes for. Prices in a price guide are a joke.
SCD (how can such an inane magazine do something so useful???)also has the advantage of having a chronological as well as alphabetical index. so if you're not quite sure of the name, but have a 5-year span, you can almost always find it.
