PaulAre there any experts out there on the 1920s V89 William Paterson cards from Canada? I have owned only one of these cards for many years. It's printed on thin white paper. I remember reading (somewhere) that the entire Paterson set may have been issued only in proof form. So, the thin paper stock would make sense.
I recently purchased two more cards from this set, and both of them are on card stock. It's very thin card stock, but definitely card stock, not plain paper. Also, the cards have a definite off-white tone, not pure white, like my paper one. None of the three cards would grade any better than VG, so I doubt that any of them are reproductions.
If any of you have seen these two types of cards before, or have any more information, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
