M116's do have a little variance in length. I bought a group of about 100 M116's from a long time collector in DC. He had purchased these cards from a man that opened the packs (direct from Sporting News in 191?) in front of him. I have sold most of them ( I still have a couple of the wrappers)over the past 6 years but sent a group to PSA 2 years ago. I sent 10 cards, 3 came back as trimmed (ungradeable), (4) 8's and (3) 7's. I am always a little skeptical about grading services, specially when you the occasional trimmed old judge card receiving hi grades.
