John....my dad used to buy me a Mickey Mantle card every year for 5 years as part of my christmas present. the reason he did this? Mantle was his favorite player when he was a kid....so now i have a real nice little Mantle collection that i cant sell ever 
(note: not that i would sell them anytime soon,and i actually bought 2 on my own after he stopped)
