my scanner doesn't do the color justice and I am not that adpet at playing with color correction, but in person, the difference between the back of the Milan and the other 207s is easily spotted. As you mentioned, I would expect to see other cards with brown ink and not just the Milan. I really doubt the ink on my Milan is an oxidized black. If that were the case, I would think that you would see a lot more of it. Someone with more knowledge about printing than me and probably say for sure, but I think black is one of those colors that fades, but will never 'mutate' to a radically different shade/hue.
