I would personally characterize the corners as having something more than "slight wear".
I don't know. On initial inspection, it looked like it was graded more liberal than other T205 SGC cards that I have seen. However, I would say that the corners are better on this card than the SGC 84 Ty Cobb that BMW recently sold:

The corners on the Thomas card look better than the following SGC 70's:

however, I would have expected an SGC 80, from what I can see in the scan.
