I have been selling these like this for over 10 years. I have been in this business for 47 years and am only 57, Not an old man. Not to have a battle of wits that you cannot win, but this is how progressive proof sets are sold. Something I am sure you know nothing about. I have sold these as recently as 2 months ago and they passed the authentication process, no problem. This is just a case of unknowledgeable people trying to do something they are entirely incapable of.
