I think too much impulse control has hampered my collecting.
I have 4 main collections, 2 of them with only 5-11 cards left to hunt down...one that only presents an opportunity for expansion randomly...and one that needs about 28 cards.
If I threw money at them, I would be almost finished, but I insist on getting "my price" that's relative to the current marketplace.
I want to expand into a new collection, but I have no interest that satisfies the desire to expand. My self control is leading to stagnation of new inventory.
That said, I highly enjoy and actively spend time with what I have. I've taken great care to not become addicted to the chase as much as I've taken great care to not throw money at something just to say I have it (unless it's something that very rarely comes around for sale).
Still, I'm on the lookout for another collection avenue to travel...
