The broader hobby market has a demand for Trading Card Games (TCG) and Pokemon is one of the largest Intellectual Properties (IP) in the world. It’s bringing kids to shows and the market is hot in terms of top cards in sets rising and holding values. I don’t collect it, but I’m not blind to what’s going on in the hobby.
The hobby isn’t just pre-war baseball cards and certainly not the 1950-1970s mass printed stuff that is all over Chantilly/Philly/Strongsville/the National

I have heard our pre-war market, on cards, is akin to a pimple on an elephants ass.....but I would rather collect this niche than any.
