Nagy....
Around 1976, I introduced myself to Nagy at one of the Detroit area shows. He didn't know me from Adam, but he said, "Come to my house and see my junk."
He wasn't one to god himself up.
Nagy spent a couple of hours showing off the most incredible collection in existence. He didn't even scratch the surface. I remember a stack of Police Gazette premiums, all mint, in a stack as thick as a telephone book. He simply said, "A lot of guys like New York stuff."
I'm probably the only person ever, ever... to not ask for something after seeing his swag. I mean, I was just blown away.
