Certainly not Gehrig but a few years ago we had the first known examples of the 1921 Self-developing strip cards of Zack Wheat, George Sisler, Rabbit Maranville, and George Kelly.

A little later we handled the first ever (and still only) 1909 version of the Rose Company Cy Young card. there were 2 or 3 known 1908 versions, but he was traded between seasons, and like Rose company did with other players who changed teams, they added a sticker to cover his team name for the 1909 version.
