This year, we lost two of our housecats: Squeak, who was 18 years old, and Chester, the feral I domesticated a few years ago. There is talk of a Cat Distribution System that works in an area of the universe undetectable to the human senses. I can attest that it is true. We are down to one barn cat, but last weekend a small Manx cat appeared in our yard. After posting on our city ward page looking for the owner (and none appearing) we took him to the vet to be neutered and vaccinated.

Apparently, he is still a kitten and won't sit still long enough for a picture, so this is the best I could do to introduce the world to Stubbs (ignore the filthy porch. It has been raining almost nonstop and it is all I can do to keep up with the mowing):
