I picked up these two last December. I came across the 1947 scorecard first, signed by Mel Parnell, Tex Aulds, and Jake Jones. I figured it was worth checking to see if Aulds or Jones were difficult signatures. The Wikipedia page for Jones was subtitled "World War II flying ace". He was credited with 7.5 kills in the Pacific, and had recieved the Silver Star.

The following day, I picked up the 1946 scorecard, signed by Bert Shepard. Shepard was a P-38 pilot who was shot down over Germany. He survived the crash but lost a leg, which enabled him to be exchanged for a similarly-injured German POW. He got into one game with the 1945 Washington Senators, holding the Red Sox to three hits and one run across five innings.
