Default J.M. Magrinat and Valentin Gonzalez

Rolando, thank you for posting the cards of Jose Maria (Kiko) Magriņat and Valentin (Sirique) Gonzalez. Both are members of the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame and besides being long time Cuban League umpires they also played ball. Magriņat participated in the Cuban Leagues from 1897 to 1914 and he also played in the Negro Leagues with the Cuban Stars of Havana from 1907 to 1916 (see photo below from 1913). Valentin Gonzalez played in the Cuban Leagues from 1890 to 1911. He was also one of the first Cubans to come to the United States to play organized ball. He was with the 1905 and 1906 Jacksonville Jays of the South Atlantic League. Below is his Punch card from my PC.
