The Two Great Passions in My Life are DOGS & Baseball!

I am very involved in my local animal shelter- PAWS Humane of Chattahoochee Valley (PawsHumane.org).

Please bear with me as I state the reason for this auction:

On February 1st, we took over the cities Animal Control Center, which had been killing healthy Dogs 'for space' for years. At the end of this ugly, ugly episode, eight employees were charged and arrested.

We at PAWS achieved our No-Kill certification in 2022 and have always done everything possible to connect shelter animals with the right furrever families.

Since taking over Animal Control (now called PAWS Animal Services Division), we now house more than twice as many Dogs and Cats as we did before the takeover.

We constantly have off-site adoption events and wave adoption fees to 'grease the wheels' toward adoptions. We have numerous support services to help not only those that adopt 'our babies', but for the community in general.

I volunteer, serve on the Board of Directors and donate - but the need is great and I look for ways of providing more support.

This auction is the next path I have chosen.

ALL proceeds from this Auction will be paid directly to PAWS so the winning bidder of each item will get the full tax credit for that amount.

I wanted to get this auction started but have not worked out the fine details about exactly how the winning bidders' donations will get there. I do promise, however, I will get those in place within the next few days and will make it as user-friendly as possible.

There are (4) items in this auction. You must identify any bid with the item number (1-4).

I'm using the same auction rules you are accustomed to- with the timestamp being the deciding factor.

Each item has a starting bid of $1. Any following bids should be in whole dollars.

Shipping is on me.
