The House of David baseball team was a barnstorming baseball team formed in 1913 by the Israelite House of David, a religious commune based in Benton Harbor, Michigan. They gained popularity for their long hair and beards, as well as their unique "pepper game" tricks, and became a major attraction on the barnstorming circuit.
