Yeah, it sucks, but nowhere near the damage done by cable news outlets choosing slanted bullshit over fact-based programming -- right around that same time. Once they all decided it was easier and cheaper to pay blowhard "contributors" than maintaining worldwide news bureaus, it was all over. Now, people just get shoveled the shit they want to hear, 24/7. Humanity is dumber for it.
That Bro Media is favored most by young teens/social media addicts -- tells you the general aptitude of the target audience.
As for the Favre doc, it was very thin. I had no idea he had a kid early in college -- they spent exactly one sentence on that.
