May 23,1937 New York Yankees Ticket Stub - What a game by DiMaggio!!!
Any Joe D collectors out there?
This ticket which can be dated to May 23, 1937 using the Yankees Ticket Dating Guide was quite the game by Joltin Joe. Hits career HR #32 and throws out 2 runners at home. Sidenote- Gehrig also gets thrown out at home. Bad day for 3rd base coach for both sides.
Ticket looks to have been stapled at one point probably to the program. Otherwise decent condition for being almost 100 years old.
