Posted this on FB. The bronze sculpture is from 1998 by Robert Hogan. #19 of 36. The exceptionally detailed sculpture captures the Hall of Fame third baseman doing what he did best, with this particular pose lifted directly from tape of the 1970 World Series. The custom engraved plate has inscriptions of his career accomplishments listed as follows: "16 Gold Gloves 1960-1973, All Star Game MVP 1966, World Series MVP 1970, 18 All Star Games, AL MVP 1964, Hall of Fame 1983, Roberto Clemente Award 1972." The plaque is signed by Robinson in perfect black sharpie. Another plaque affixed to the wooden base reads, "Brooks Robinson, 'Human Vacuum Cleaner. Measures an impressive 12x20x8 weighing about 40 pounds.
