Can’t speak for everyone else, but auctions are a big source for me. Just as important, maybe more so, Howard and Fred have helped me find a lot. Either way, you usually need to be prepared to spend big, because a lot of these don’t come cheap, at least not for the big names.

Pretty sure my Briggs Mays was one that Fred helped me find. Here’s one that Howard helped me find.
