West Side Ball Grounds Chicago Cubs home before Wrigley Field low grade as pictured.
(I will be out of town at auction end, so shipment will be delayed 4 days)
In late 1915, Charles Weeghman's Federal League folded. The resourceful Weeghman formed a syndicate including the chewing gum manufacturer William Wrigley Jr. to buy the Chicago Cubs from Charles P. Taft for about $500,000. Weeghman immediately moved the Cubs from the dilapidated West Side Grounds to his two-year-old park Wrigley Field.
PayPal friends/family. Shipping is $1 in a plain white envelope. In the event the envelope is lost in the mail, I’ll refund 1/2 the purchase amount to the buyer. This just seems fair to me. I can guarantee I will drop the envelope in the mail. Rather than mail a plain white envelope at buyers risk, we can share the risk. I combine shipping.
