ROBERTO CLEMENTE AUTOGRAPHED COMPLETE PERSONAL CHECK
Housed in a PSA/DNA slab and graded a NM7. This is a high grade for a Clemente check. Almost all have perforations or cancellations affecting the signature. This one is SUPER clean with no blemishes near the signature. One of the finest Clemente checks I have ever offered. Check is made out to the Club house assistant and dated June 8th, 1972. Only 6 months after this check was written and signed, he would die in a tragic plane crash in Puerto Rico. With Clemente being one of the most difficult authentic signatures to acquire especially late in his career when he would often use Phil Dorsey or others to sign autographs for him a signed check is the ultimate upgrade, and this one is a beauty! $5,550.00
