A decade ago I started a thread here focused on slabs that were graded, but were worth less than the cost of grading. An amazing number of junk wax era cards were slabbed. Grading didn't cost that much, but the overwhelming majority of those slabs were worth the cost of grading and are worth less today. Thank you PSA for creating your registry.
The era of junk slabs has been largely resolved though in part by PSA. They have simply raised their prices.
