I love collecting various styles of cardigan sweaters of teams I collect. In this one, some sweaters have the “NY” and some don’t, also 1918 was near the end of the era of cardigan use. Having Holt, Demaree, Sellee and other usual suspects is an added bonus. This one will find a space on the wall.
One thing I did notice, no one bid on this after me for the duration of the auction which I was happy with , but did find strange. I know there is a thread on here about the stock market , maybe people did not bid as high or as aggressively as the last REA auction because of the economy…..don’t know, be interesting to see what other auctions do. Oh well, glad to add this piece to the collection.
