When you play the rookie card game, these changes can be huge. Ie- Novelty Cutlery Postcards, Big Head Strip Cards, William Patersons, Felix Mendelsohns, etc.
Great observations. I was talking with some hobbyists yesterday about rookie cards. I think they are a big niche but the popularity might have gone down, a little bit in our space, over the last 3-4 yrs. That's only an extemporanious thought though. Or maybe, it's only me that doesn't look at them as much? I am sure I still have a few in my collection. Who hasn't collected them at one time or another...?

A few cards. These were from my last collection, as a reference for the thread subject. Great research on that too. I am going to have to go upstairs and get that edition of OldCardboard and read the article again. (edited - I just skimmed over the article. Will read more later. Fantastic!)
