This is very cool, I have a couple of these from earlier that year. I lived in Frisco from 1965-1971, and 71 was the year the Giants finally broke the 2nd place jinx! We moved to Miami in Sept. of 71, so I had to watch the NLCS on TV from the east coast. Bummer. To this day I can’t stand Bob Robertson. Robertson must had hit 5-6 homers in that series, and it felt like he single-handedly beat my Giants. As a kid I was devastated 😭 Anyway, the Giants had a good team in 71, just not as good as the Pirates 😀 Thanks for sharing, GO GIANTS!!
