A few months ago, REA auctioned several 1914 Baltimore News, most of which showed evidence of fading. They were displayed at the Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum for over 20 years, and I'm told by a knowledgeable member of Net54 that the cards were poorly protected from damaging light. This card, which I have obtained for my collection of 1924 Senators players, is one of the most faded - for example, the blue border was originally much, much darker. I doesn't appear to me that SGC greatly, if at all, penalized this card for its fading. https://collectrea.com/archives/2024...graded-example
