The strangest part of all of this is how
Pete Rose was put into hard-core exile for breaking the rules and betting on baseball...yet everywhere you turn now has the open and widespread promotion/advertising of betting on sports which is completely accepted
(and seemingly 'sponsored'?) by the
MLB.
