Roster size is 28.......how many active and how many on reserve. How do injury replacements work?… 24 are active with 14 batters and 10 pitchers. The bench are 4 players and it can be any combination of pitchers and batters

Categories......what are they? For batting I assume Ave., Runs, HR, RBI, and SB.......Pitching I assume Wins, Era, Whip, K's, and Saves? Is this accurate, and what others? Average is too much luck.. We go with OPS, HR, RBI, R, SB, and a custom category of walks/si bikes as first base is the hardest base to reach (moneyball). Pitching we do t just use wins, as again too much luck.. we go with wins/quality starts as 1 category. Then era, whip, k’s, saves/holds (one category) and ratio for strikeouts to walks. Not strikeouts per 9 innings.

What players are already taken as franchised? Does the new team get to select 2 players so all teams are equal going into the draft or will the new team be taking over another team and already has two franchised players?

Our protections, won’t be posted until Feb 28th so it’s hard to speculate on what teams are gonna do. I will tell you most likely there will be 4 teams starting fresh… definitely a great year to start out and you will be able to build your team and even contend as we make it very competitive each year and our rules won’t allow teams to hoard players.

How is the draft done over a 2 week period? We draft twice a day with “tee” times the same so you can plan your day and draft. You can use auto pilot if need be. We just do 2 picks a day during the week. We do one pick Friday morning and then start back up on Sunday afternoon for one pick. The first and last day of draft we do 3 picks. We don’t use a timer but you have 30 minutes to make your pick during your tee time and we ask you pick before that time is up.

I will let you know if I have any other questions.

Thanks,
Bob
