Don't know if this helps, but I've had it in my PC since the early 1980s.
I don't know of any info on which cells certain cards were in, but in the mid 1980s, Topps would stack the cards in predictable sequences in their rack packs. For example, there would be a Mattingly card 3 cards down from the top if XX was showing and two cards from the bottom if YY was showing. At one time I had written down the sequences, but I have not seen those lists in many years. The sequences became pretty obvious after opening boxes and boxes of rack packs. Oh what fun we had in the junk era.
