In a perfect world, a PSA 10 would be an SGC 10 would be a CGC 10 and they'd all be worth the same. The reality is that a PSA 10 broken and out and resubmitted may or may not be a CGC 10 or a SCC 10, or even a PSA 10 again.
The other reality is that PSA grades a million cards more per month than the #2 grading company, and they share a parent company with the #3 company.
So, it's weird. And complicated. I suppose if owners of non-PSA slabs refused to sell them for less, fewer would sell for less....but good luck getting everyone to agree on that approach!
