I usually go out for long rides on the backroads of western Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire when I get tired of sitting around at home. I was on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere in the middle of a town forest in Wendell Massachusetts. It's about 90 miles west of Boston. I saw a female moose walking down the road in front of me ! A man was walking down the same road from the other direction with his dog, and his cat following behind him.
He saw the moose too. He said he's never seen a moose around that area before. I've never seen on before at all. They're huge ! It made my day.
