I had already put all my max bids into what is an exception auction (budget in the holidays is always a little tighter, so I'm already out!), but the popcorn absolutely achieved a positive goal for me. Great catalogue, funny and thoughtful mailers. I know there are very real reasons that Memory Lane needs to make up for sins of the past, but I do appreciate the thought and effort. Its also a really good way to play the long game for eventual potential consignors, as its gotten this sub talking again about a great slate of auction items in a novel way.

Wut? If ML needs to atone for sins, and I won't speculate about what you are talking about here, why on earth would sending people a bag of popcorn or a junk wax pack atone for them? Are people that manipulable? I doubt it.
