“Best ever….”
Not many unarguable “best ever” players in baseball history:
Nolan Ryan - best ever strike out pitcher
Mariano Rivera - best ever closer
Willie Mays - best ever all around player
Rickey Henderson - best ever leadoff hitter
After 140 or so years of history, it’s really something to be be the undisputed best at anything in this game - and Rickey was one of those few.
What a legendary player he was
