Greg Morris, it seems the cards are actually on his standard
blue backdrop (whether it's a feed scanner or a regular scanner) and the card images aren't cut and pasted onto it later, so it is quite odd that those lines don't continue into the blue and are only 'on' the cards themselves
(I opened the Spahn in Photoshop and messed with the settings to confirm the line isn't somehow hidden in the blue).
