I believe this is correct and have no other empirical data to go on. I bought these when I was a member of the Baseball Card Society and have the information sheets that both Apfelbaum and Feldstein sent to the members discussing these cards.

Here is an example with rulers. Sorry about the ruler on the side it slipped an 1/16th of an inch.
