Yep just came to final conclusions yesterday. The premium was not real. The person was good though as far as the size as they new the exact dimensions. I paid a decent amount for the photo and a ticket stub from 1913. The stub is real, but the photo was not. I reached out to the auction house and although they had no desire to refund my money - they ultimately did. It is in process as we speak.
Any lesson to be learned here is that despite the auction stated all items were sold as is - I asked the question about the authenticity of the photo and received an email back stating the photo had indeed been issued in 1913. Without that email I would not have been able to get a refund. I was bummed as the auction had a ton of great stuff in it - I just picked the wrong one LOL
