Good morning, I’m looking to try and find some historical information about the set listed in the description above.

I was able to find that there was a prior issued set in 1911 called the Pinkerton cabinets. Based on what I read, you would find coupons inside the Pinkerton tobacco companies packaging, and when you earned enough, you could exchange them for a player card of choice.

As far as the 1913-15 set goes, the only information I was able to find was that there are three variances (blank back, scorecard back, and traditional postcard back) and that nobody really knows how many are truly in this set. I also read that Jefferson Burdick didn’t list this set in his catalog. I’m wondering if Pinkerton approached the postcards in a similar way as the cabinets; by exchanging coupons found in cigarette packages for a postcard.

Would anyone have any further details about this set?
