Quite an accomplishment. Carl Braun was very tough. When he was still living and lived near me in San Diego I befriended Ernie Vandweghe. Because of the Colgate & Knicks connection I once mentioned to Dr. Ernie how tough it was to get Braun's autograph for my personal collection. He said, "Oh, I'll get Carl to sign for you." NOPE!
