Especially for postwar vintage. For pitchers not named Koufax or Ryan, most cards besides rookies in nice shape are unbelievably affordable. This includes:

Ford
Feller
Spahn
Marichal
Gibson
Seaver
Palmer
Perry
Carlton
Jenkins

And doubtless others I'm failing to mention.
