I do, however, believe that the caption is incorrect. Based on the team photo in the link that Jewish-collector provided, I think the 2 US players (L-R) are Lovellette and Bontemps. Compare the photo of Bontemps below to the image on the card:

My hope was that I had found a playing-days issue of Bob Kurland, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Is anyone aware of one (card or postcard)?
