I get that feeling all too well Leon. Another hobby I have is metal detecting. I have had the great opportunity to hunt Civil War sites. I dig a bullet, a button, something, from the ground and I get that same feeling.

Over 160 years ago this was shot, dropped, discarded in the place I find it, and I'm the first person to uncover it after all that time. How did it get there, who dropped it, what was going on at that particular time? History, regardless of how it is presented can be an awe inspiring and sometimes overwhelming thing.

Thanks for sharing!!!!

Butch.
