Vancouver was the Beavers. Seattle was the Giants. The Vancouver Giants play in the Western Hockey League. Another senior moment. Being old is fun.
While we're on the subject here is a snapshot I took a decade ago of some of Dave Eskenazi's PCL items on display at the ballpark in Seattle. Hard to see in the photo but the bat is stamped "Ten Million" in a funky typefont.
