I picked these three 1914 Royal Tailor album pages up last year in a Leland's auction. I really only wanted the Johnson as a gift for my son-in-law who lives and works near Washington D.C. But before I could figure out what to do with the other two, pitcher Eddie Plank and entertainer Joe Foy, my daughter saw them and wanted all three. So, I got all three framed and they are hanging in her Bethesda home.
Wow, George, that's really bringing it! This forum can be amazing. Now I'm wondering if I actually mis-remembered and that it was a Plank instead of Chance I saw many years ago, also if I might have mis-remembered a Royal Tailor Matty for the Crack-a-Jack Matty I know exists. At any rate, I did have two WaJos at one point, and neither of them was this one, so that makes three of those known. A truly rare and beautiful issue whatever players were depicted.
