250 signed SIs? Man, I’ve gotten more of 100 of them, most coming since 2019 and I’d have love to get every one I possibly can.
Denny McLain is the most interesting conversation I've ever had with an athlete. He had his own table at show in Chicago last fall. I bought the book he was selling on Kindle in front of him, so he signed my 1965 Topps rookie for free, then told me crazy stories about him and Tug McGraw running wild in Vietnam. He didn't hide from everything he did wrong. Very upfront about it all. Also really seemed to hate Mickey Lolich.
