Default SOLD RARE 1928 New York Yankees Ticket Stub Babe Ruth Record Crowd

This Ticket stub was graded by PSA many moons ago and probably can use a re-submit to get the label updated. Or leave it as is as it's THE TICKET that matters.

Another ticket from this game sold in 2022 for $1500, so get a deal here. There are only 3 total graded by PSA from this game.

The significance of this Ticket Stub and Game are 2-fold. 1, it's from what was a record setting crowd over 85,000...
"There have been some tremendous crowds in major league history, but the 80,000 attendance mark has only been surpassed five times, and the race to determine the highest number is close. The first time was on Sept. 9, 1928 when the Philadelphia Athletics played a doubleheader at Yankee Stadium. The total attendance was 85,265, of which 81,622 paid. The Yanks swept the two-game set, and the fans had the opportunity to watch 10 future Hall of Famers play or manage."

2nd, there is rare footage of Ruth and Murderers Row that has survived all these years from this exact game!

Great articles on the game & video footage
