What I mean is, you could have a card that appeals to a lot of people made. Like an 89 UD Griffey, for example. But most of the pieces are cards that were personal favorites of the person who commissioned the piece. Or at least that was my understanding.

That's right, you get your choice of any card Tim has not already made before. I am sure that was a deliberate choice not to commoditize them. The Kelly, probably because the underlying card is so great, is spectacular. But in the famous words of a dealer friend of mine, it may be the case that the only thing lower than the supply is the demand.
